Userback Review: Is it worth spending your money on?

Userback Review

As a web developer, it is always quite challenging communicating with your clients on what improvements to make, what features to drop or add, and so forth. I bet you have had the back and forth calls and emails experience from your clients trying to explain what to fix or improve.

Luckily, there are several platforms that have been developed to solve this problem and one of the best and most popular is Userback Feedback Tool.

You’ve probably come across or heard about this tool from friends or online, and if you’re wondering if to use it or not, here is an honest review to help you make a more informed decision.

Userback

What is Userback?

Userback is a specially designed customer feedback solution that eases developer-customer communication by allowing the customers to easily make and send feedback using video and marked screenshots.

It offers three feedback selections; video records, screenshots with ability to write and draw on them, and general feedback. Additionally, you get a notification whenever new feedback is uploaded as well as a chance to manage multiple web development projects under one platform.

It is specifically designed for software companies, web agencies, developers and designers as an easy feedback management tool. Installing it is also pretty simple. You can either opt for the WordPress plugin option or add a simple Javascript code to get it up and running.

Well, it doesn’t have the best set of video tutorials, the written guides work just fine. The tool is also pretty simple to use and they also have online support programs that you can contact when stuck.

Userback is a perfect solution for the following use cases; website feedback tool, design feedback tool, bug tracking tool, user acceptance testing, customer satisfaction, and software feature requests.

Pros

  • Excellent integrations with numerous project management tools
  • Easy feedback sharing through video and marked screenshots
  • Easy to use once you get a hang of it

Cons

It’s difficult to mention any limitation in this platform. Well, I’m not saying its perfect, but what makes it so good is it’s management team listens to customer complaints and makes changes almost immediately. For example, below are some of the customer complaints that had been made a year or two back but have been all solved. That’s how good it is.

  • Difficult to explain to customers how to use it.
  • No white label
  • Inability to capture the full-page screenshots

Should you buy it?

My answer is YES. The platform is super amazing compared to the likes of other products. Userback is so good that we use it for our web design projects. A 4.7/5-star rating on Capterra is proof enough that this tool will sort you out big-time.

As always, feel free to check out its competitors and compare the different features based on the exact features you are looking for.
